What We Do?
Shedafrica addresses climate change through reforestation, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy projects, and environmental education.
This cross-cutting programme ensures women, girls, and other marginalized groups are central to all our interventions.
The Health and Nutrition programme focuses on reducing maternal and child mortality, combating preventable diseases, and improving access to quality healthcare services.
Shedafrica’s Education and Skills Development programme aims to improve access to quality education and equip young people with relevant skills for the 21st-century economy.
In times of crisis, Shedafrica provides emergency relief including food aid, shelter, and protection services.
This programme supports micro-enterprises, agricultural development, and financial inclusion initiatives to lift communities out of poverty.

Upcoming Events
SHEDAFRICA aims to significantly expand its core intervention areas to reach more communities across its operational states (Cross River, Adamawa, Edo, Akwa Ibom, and FCT Abuja). This includes rolling out enhanced nutrition programs to combat malnutrition among children and mothers, promoting wider adoption of renewable energy solutions like improved cookstoves and waste-to-energy briquettes to reduce deforestation and indoor air pollution, strengthening reproductive health services.

SHEDAFRICA recognizes that sustainable impact requires collaborative ecosystems. This priority involves actively seeking new funding partnerships with international donors (e.g., expanding beyond USAID/UNICEF), strengthening collaborations with federal and state governments for policy alignment and co-funding, and engaging the private sector for corporate social responsibility initiatives in health, environment, and enterprise development
